Seth, the Silver Knight

With most people attending the event, I suppose I will take up security and patrol during that period of time.

This is a proclamation of Her Most Divine Majesty Queen Eirika's knight:

None of you are worthy of even licking her boots.

That is all.

This is most... perverse. And from the looks of things, many others are affected.

My Queen, I hope your belongings are all with you.

The return of my body is to be met with relief, and I am glad it was well taken care of, miss Erika. Thank you.

The semester project will be:

To build your own lance, from the materials available from the campus, or the nearby establishment. You will be graded in three weeks' time. Criteria are as follow:

1. Balance.
2. Craftsmanship.
3. Practicality.

You will also be asked to demonstrate the various techniques taught over the semester using the lance you have created.

For tomorrow's session, all of you will be bringing a weapon of your choice, limited to lance-type weaponry. We will be doing actual sparring. Wear paddings if you have to.

That is all.

It has been an interesting period. And the festive season here seems to be an annual tradition.

Are you feeling better now, my Queen?

Practicality of the matter advises non-intervention even though proceduralists will not concur with directions of events set into motion. Repetition of non-essential thought processes is not conducive to fulfilment of oath. Observation and post-action evaluation indicates a high possibility of negative affection to prior obligations.

Unfortunately, attempts at deprivation of auxiliary functions during periods of complete inactivity remains frustratingly unsuccessful.

Life certainly is different here. There is no air of oppression, neither is there the familiarity of a place well recognised. I hope my Queen has settled well, as are the rest of the contingent from Magvel. Perhaps more will come as time goes by.

I can see why a curfew is enforced. The consequences are most...unorthodox.

Unexpected events made me unable to attend the meeting, but greetings all, I am Sir Seth of Renais, and I will be the instructor for MM 140 - Axes, Lances and Maces.

There are certain positives and negatives to attempting new swordplay by oneself. To be able to innovate as one likes, yet at the same time unable to truly test out its effectiveness. It is almost similar to when one tries to clap with a single hand.

There is also an interesting saying from this Sun Tze... "In difficult ground, press on; In encircled ground, devise stratagems; In death ground, fight." Ancient saying, yet true regardless of the time.

The overhaul is going well as well. I should have a new proposal available soon. It will allow the militia and military to react better  to unforeseen incursions in the future.

I suppose there is no longer any need for nightly practice, miss Emi. A little unfortunate that it be so.

Time to concentrate on other things, then.

Coding, as it may be termed, is a rather interesting profession. Regretfully it will be of little use in Renais, however. Halloween, on the other hand, is a strange festival. This mention of deceiving the spirits seem unlikely. I am quite sure some of them would be logical enough to figure out the true identity of the person even if he or she has changed outfits, aye?

I recently come across this... historical strategist. Curious name - Sun Tze, but I find his writings interesting. I shall be taking some time to read though them.

A day and a half left. This will be... fairly interesting.

I cannot get used to the cha cha, even now.

Moderate encryption... )

I have fallen much.

No longer a retainer, I feel... empty. Being such to the Royal House of Renais has always implied a certain trust that they bestow upon the individual, unless said individual was elevated to such a position through political considerations. I am aware of my background, I do not enjoy the backing of politics when I obtained such a position.

On hindsight, a series of bad decisions might have led to my current predicament, and how I wish the Everlasting could strike me down. I question my survival, and it seems I have much to attone for, though it is possible that attonement would never be within my reach.

I must start somewhere, however, if only to lessen the sins I carry before I meet the Ultimate Judge.

The clear night sky... brings about melancholy. It will be a good companion for my patrol, perhaps.

It hurts, because I do not know how to fix this...broken part of myself...

((OOC: Those living in Sakuragi Apaarto, and like to look out of their windows after midnight, might see an armored figure patrolling the area during the nights.))

I have time to prepare, at least.

((OOC: To those at Seth's work place, he will be polite and not quite approachable. Bandages on his arms and hands, and he seems to have to strain himself to do dishwashing.))

I shall sing to the glory of Renais as I march forth.

Unto the Breach, unto the Breach.

((OOC: Seth will be MIA for the latter part of Sunday and Monday.

Addition: Whomever lives at/visits Sakuragi Apaato in the early hours of Monday morning will probably see a fully armored knight kneeling on one knee in front of #16, the full plate appears to be badly dented and pierced, while whomever is residing in the armor seems to be motionless.))

Since everyone from Renais do frequent this contraption, I shall be succint:

I have resigned from my position as the General of Renais. Do give your blessing to whomever may be promoted, I am confident that he or she can do well.

Last week was utterly excellent.

It seems the decrease in customers has ceased. Perhaps with the coming weeks we will see an increment once more.

I am restless, somewhat.
